Hierarchy and Spread Retriever

Emerald has many clients that needed virtual spread data for reporting but had no way to get it. When the Primavera ERD (Enterprise Reporting Databases) tool came out, many thought that this was the solution. The drawback with the ERD is that activity Expenses are not included in the tool, which for some companies, make up close to 80% of the project budget. The second limitation with the ERD is the complexity of the table structure for the average user to work with.

Emerald’s Hierarchy & Spread Retriever solution allows for the de-normalization of UDFs (User Defined Fields), Activity Codes and Project Codes (including the hierarchies) in a streamlined manner. The tool allows the responsible project lead user to control when to take a snapshot of a project or a group of projects for insertion into the tables. Emerald’s tool works through the API with Emerald’s own grid enabled technology to allow for very quick and easy-to-use results.
