Overview

Problem

Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC, previously known as Prime) is a collaborative, cloud-based, enterprise solution that provides a single platform for managing the prioritization, planning, and execution of projects. While this is a powerful and robust system, there are still some issues, and giving your team access to load all of the necessary data into the system may not always be possible. Even when it is, the data entry process can be frustrating and very time-consuming. Although the tool has many XML import and export capabilities, they are not always easy to use and can make uploading and extracting data difficult. Integrating data from other corporate sources like SAP, Fusion and legacy systems can also be challenging.

Emerald’s OPC-Integrator is a flexible and secure solution that simplifies Oracle Primavera Cloud data extraction, loading, updating and integrating. The OPC-Integrator gives both project users and administrators the ability to import and export many of the key data elements available in Oracle Primavera Cloud, allowing for the movement of data back and forth between Oracle Primavera Cloud and Microsoft Excel in a controlled manner.

The OPC-Integrator can create and update data in the Oracle Primavera Cloud database and allow users to manipulate data at both the project level and workspace levels. With the OPC-Integrator, you can populate an entire database in minutes. As a result, the OPC-Integrator goes above and beyond Oracle Primavera Cloud’s built-in XML and Excel import & export functionality. OPC-Integrator currently includes WBS, activities, resource assignments, the resource dictionary, calendars, codes and configurable fields. More to come in future versions.
