IMPORTANT UPDATE - Emerald's P6-Loader 6.0.1.1 has been released, this is a patch release and has the following features and fixes.
Released on July 31st, 2018
(these release notes also include version 6.0.1.0)
New Features
- If a date field in Excel doesn't have the time information (or is set to midnight), the P6-Loader will adjust the time accordingly to the following rules:
- If the field is formatted as a date, and the time in the field is set to midnight, and if the field is in the “permitted” field list, then the time will be adjusted;
- Or, if the field is not formatted as a date (it is a string in Excel), then the time will be adjusted.
- How is the time adjusted?
- Start dates are set to midnight, or to an optional “start of shift” time that can be defined in the application settings;
- Finish dates are set to 23:59:59, or to an optional “end of shift” time that can be defined in the application settings.
- P6 will automatically adjust the time so that it matches the activity calendar working hours, for the fields where this rule is applied;
- These settings can be turned on or off in the application settings.
Bug Fixes
- During the calendar rolldown, normalizes the exception map of both the global and project calendar to prevent calendar duplication during the rolldown operation;
- Doesn't build the cache for an entity that is being deleted unnecessarily;
- Stability improvements.
