Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) - What's New in v24.6?

Below is a high-level look at some of the new functionality available in Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) v24.6.

In a Program, the user can now use ‘schedule with multiple float paths’ functionality for any size of program.
Schedule the projects using multiple float paths and calculate the end date.

An added option is available when creating Work Plans using Swim Lanes. The option to group by WBS is now available. Up to three levels of the WBS can be displayed including the parent WBS. This feature is also available for the mobile app.

Functionality to create task codes at the project level enables you to sort, filter, and group tasks by codes on all pages available in the Task app. The code is created in Summary & Settings in the Project view. As with activity codes, colors can be assigned to the task codes. This is also available for the mobile app.

Grouping and sorting are now available for the project grid on the Portfolio Scorecard page, enabling you to control how data is displayed for reporting and analysis.

On the Assignment List page and on the Activities Resource/Role Usage tabs, a link to Download Entire Spread is now available. When the link is selected, a job service will run in the background, with a notification sent when the file is ready. The user can download the entire resource spread data to Excel for a project, workspace, or program for further reporting and analysis. The existing Download link will continue to work as before by downloading only the first fifteen columns of spread data.

On the mobile app, the user can now select activities, WBS, and codes in a hierarchical pick list instead of a flat list making it easier to find activities that may have similar names across the WBS. The feature also allows you to quickly filter on code values.

It is useful to be familiar with added functionality so you can utilize it where it is to your advantage.
