How to connect Primavera P6 15.2 deployed on Oracle Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
A step-by-step tutorial
To start off, on your client SGD VDI or Citrix server where Primavera P6 is already installed, please add a new alias.
Give the Alias a name, in this case DEMO_IaaS.
It is assumed that the IaaS Oracle database is already configured and P6 Cloud Connect is already installed.
You should see "connection successful".
Now, when the user logs in, they should see "loading data. Please wait..."
You should see "running batch append query" which is different from your regular on-prem Primavera implementation.
That’s it. Voila!
