Oracle Primavera Cloud Updates in v24.2
To start, you can now import a baseline or scenario of a P6 XML to create a new project or to create a scenario or baseline of an existing project. Any associated baseline categories will also be imported. Food for thought: this can provide additional flexibility on how baselines and scenarios are shared between owners, general contractors, and subcontractors.
A search bar is now available on the Hand-offs page allowing you to search for a task, activity, or company.
When creating a List configured field, you can now add values up to 128 characters long allowing for better integration with other applications. Configured fields are user-created fields that allow you to define and maintain data specific to your organization.
On the Task List page, you can group tasks by your work breakdown structure (WBS) hierarchy.
On the Task List and Work Plan pages, Activity Start and Activity Finish dates can used in filters.
The Evaluation page includes the option to save a snapshot of the scores for each category. This allows you to refer to previous values as configurations may change.
Workspace reports can be copied and modified in child workspaces.
Being aware of new functionality helps to allow you and your team to use the software to their best advantage.
